The Morvant family has been serving the Vermilion Parish area for nearly 60 years.  Ray Morvant had the State Farm Insurance Agency in Kaplan for 58 years and at various times in their lives, all four of his children worked in the family business. In 2020, about 6 months before he passed away, Ray decided that Kaplan needed its own title and notary location so the residents in Vermilion Parish wouldn’t have to travel out of their way to get their vehicles and trailers titled and various other services that the state provides. Now the same great service that Ray provided at his insurance office is being provided at Morvant Title and Notary. This business is owned by his three sons, Hank, Kelly, and Jason.  Morvant Insurance Agency, our sister business, is also located in the same shopping center.
